2717872 - Demand Planning Consumption Mode/Periods CIF issue when initial

Symptom

The consumption periods (forward and backward) and consumption mode set in Material master (transaction MM02, MRP3 tab) are CIFed from ECC to APO Product master (transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1, demand tab).

But if the values set in material master are initial (blank or zero) another value is sent to APO.

Example:

ECC:                                        APO:

Frd consump     = 3       CIF       Frd consump     = 3

Bwd Consump   = 3                   Bwd Consump   = 3

But if in ECC the value is initial, another value is updated in APO:

ECC:                                        APO:

Frd consump     = 3       CIF       Frd consump     = 3

Bwd Consump   = 0                   Bwd Consump   = 9
