2684965 - XPI Inspector is not collecting trace, the result ZIP file is downloaded/saved with a size of 0 KB

Symptom

Within Process Integration (PI), you have installed the XPI Inspector tool and are facing issues with it. You notice that XPI Inspector is not collecting trace, the result ZIP file is downloaded/saved with a size of 0 KB. You have checked KBA 2427544 - XPI Inspector - Known issues A, and SAPLogonTicketKeypair entry is already import to keystore, TicketKeystore view, but the issue persists.

In the defaultTrace files, you can see the following error:

Java.io.IOException: No such file or directory (path /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/xpi_inspector/XXX/server_XXX/xpi_traces.html, working dir /usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance ID>/j2ee/cluster/server0)
 at java.io.UnixFileSystem.createFileExclusively(Native Method)
 at java.io.File.createNewFile(File.java:893)
