2679863 - Lock-waiting session isn't killed when exceeding elapsed-time resource limit - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • An elapsed-time resource limit is set and its action to take when the limit is exceeded is to kill the session.
  • When a session running a query exceeds the limit because it's sleeping on a lock held by another process, the query is interrupted correctly, but the session is not termintated expectedly.
