Your Customer Checkout runs in Table service (formerly known as Hospitality) mode. You take a new order for food or beverages. The patron has a special requirement such as how the food should be cooked (e.g. medium or rare) or the drink be served (with or without ice cubes). You want to add that information to the order to be made available to the kitchen or bar staff.
