2604222 - HADR Message: 4002 Login failed on DR_maint - SRS


  • HADR uses DR_maint as the maintenance user for SRS log to the target server.
  • DR_maint encounter Login failed with these msgs :
    • ERROR #1028 DSI EXEC(104 RDS.RDB) - /generic/useful/cm.c(5337)
              Message from server: Message: 4002, State 1, Severity 14 -- 'Login failed.
    • ERROR #1027 DSI(104 ASE.DB) - /generic/useful/cm.c(5221)
      Open Client Client-Library error: Error: 67175468, Severity 4 -- 'ct_connect(): protocol specific layer: external error: The attempt to connect to the server failed.'.
      ERROR #13045 DSI(104 RDS.RDB) - /generic/useful/cm.c(5225)
      Failed to connect to server 'RDS.RDB' as user 'DR_maint'. See CT-Lib and/or server error messages for more information.
      The DSI thread for database 'RDS.RDB' is shutdown.
  • The above error does not limit to DR_maint, it could happen on other maintenance user.
