2597350 - "Attempt to push affinity to a non-existent engine" when running disk unmirror - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • ASE is running in "process" mode.

  • The configuration setting, "number of engines at startup" is less than "max online engines".

  • When running "disk unmirror", ASE errorlog will display the message "Attempt to push affinity to a non-existent engine".  The message is raised as many times as the difference between 'max online engines' and 'actual running engines'.
