Symptom

  • Error updating message <Solman incident iID from SAP incident <SAP incident ID>
    Error: Invalid user <S000######> when calling SAP backend system
  • Refresh_message_status background job is failing
  • AI_CRM_IM_UPDATE_FROM_SAP fails
  • SOLMAN_INCIDENT_UPD application log shows:
    Invalid user <S-user id> when calling SAP backend system
    Message No. SOLMAN_SAP_BACKEND007
    Diagnosis
    You did not enter a valid S user when you called the SAP back-end system.
    Error text: AUTHORIZATION ERROR: Invalid UserID
    S user assigned in SAP Support Portal: <S-User ID that is failing>
    User in SAP Solution Manager: <user running the background job, e.g. SOLMAN_BTC>
    RFC destination used: <RFC background job tries to use, e.g. SM_SP_0000######>
