Symptom

The Database-Scope variable has been added to SAP IQ 16.1.
However, the explanation of "CREATE VARIABLE" in the reference manual is written as follows.

CREATE VARIABLE Statement

Syntax

- Creates a data type or database-scope variable

CREATE [OR REPLACE] VARIABLE <identifier> <data-type>
    [ { = | DEFAULT} initial-value ]

- Create a connection-scope variable

CREATE [ OR REPLACE ] DATABASE VARIABLE [ IF NOT EXISTS ]
    [ <owner>.]<identifier> <data-type> [ { = | DEFAULT } <initial-value> ]

This syntax is incorrect.
