2573957 - Error “failed to upload document” when trying to upload an application to BI Platform

Symptom

When trying to upload an application to the BI Platform from Lumira Designer you get the “Failed to upload document”. On the logs, you see one of the following errors:

  • Caused by: com.sap.ip.bi.zen.connectivity.ConnectivityException: org.apache.http.client.ClientProtocolException: Failed to obtain RESTful WebServices logon token, response status: 401, reason: Unauthorized
  • Caused by: com.sap.ip.bi.zen.connectivity.ConnectivityException: javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext connection?
  • Caused by: org.apache.http.client.ClientProtocolException: Unexpected response status: 404
