SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

2539264 - SQL8001N failed due to a product license problem.

Symptom

Issue can occur on any Database version.  The following example is for 9.7 
Error can be seen in the db2diag.log or a short dump output on the SAP side (DBSQL_SQL_ERROR)

    installed. You can install the license via using License Center or
    db2licm command line utility. The license file can be obtained from
    your licensed product CD.
