2530410 - HowTo proceed in case the number range limit of an InfoObject is reached

Symptom

You have detected that the number range for the SID table of a certain characteristic has reached its limit. For instance if DTPs have failed with a dump of type UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION in CL_RSR_RRSI_SERVICE=>GET_NUMBER which points to the fact that no new SID could be generated for a certain characteristic.

A less dramatic root cause could be if the Early Watch Report shows yellow (or even red) alerts, signaling that the number range of a SID table is above a certain limit.

You have found SAP Note 1331403 which provides detailed information about the root cause of this issue. However, you are uncertain how you have to proceed and if there is a possible workaround to get the loading processes running while you are working on a final solution together with SAP Support.
