Following error message is raised when creating an IQ database manually:
DBA user ID must be specified in the CREATE DATABASE statement
On SAP IQ, you can create the database by using the CREATE DATABASE statement from an interactive SQL (dbisql).
And, From SAP IQ 16.1 has added the DBA USER and the DBA PASSWORD clauses for the CREATE DATABASE statement.
Pre-SAP IQ 16.0 has been created the database with the DBA user : DBA and the DBA password : sql as the initial database DBA user.
But, SAP IQ 16.1 will not be create the user and the password for the initial database DBA user by the change of the specification.
Therefore, you must set the user and the password for the initial database DBA user by using the DBA USER and the DBA PASSWORD clauses when you create a database by using SQL.
