2468369 - database restore from backup dump file failing - SAP ASE

Symptom

load failing with following errors in the backupserver log:
 
A00: SYBMULTBUF ERROR: Length of buffer after uncompressing (45179) is not the same as original length at the time of the dump (65536).
Backup Server: 4.145.2.22: [95] Error for database/archive device while working on stripe device '/sybase/SID/backup/SID.dmp'.
Error reading from archive device /sybase/SID/backup/SID.dmp. Attempted to read 67580 bytes, but 27200 bytes were read. The dump is probably bad.
Backup Server: 6.32.2.3: /sybase/SID/backup/SID.dmp: volume not valid or not requested (server: , session id: 8.)
Backup Server: 1.14.2.4: Unrecoverable I/O or volume error.  This DUMP or LOAD session must exit.
