2417382 - Frontend print problem after upgrade to SAPGUI 740 patch 11 and higher

Symptom

After upgrade to SAPGUI 740 patch 11 and higher, there is no print out from the printer when doing frontend printing with access method G, although the spool request status in SP01 shows 'Comp.'.

In the sapfprint.log file got as Note 1780896, the 'params' is empty. Below is an example.

Usually it looks like below:

Th 21124: (18.01.2017 08:23:46) printer_name = __DEFAULT
Th 21124: (18.01.2017 08:23:46) filesize = 1574
Th 21124: (18.01.2017 08:23:46) copies = 1
Th 21124: (18.01.2017 08:23:46) suppress_print_dialog = 0
Th 21124: (18.01.2017 08:23:46) params = USER = ""Username#":PJIDENT = ""PRD0000434358#":PJNUMBER = ""00001#":TITLE = ""#":
Th 21124: (18.01.2017 08:23:46) CsapfPrintCtrl::~CsapfprintCtrl destructor called


In sapwin_xxxxxx.log file, you can find error like below:

Error: Printfile C:\Users\<User name>\AppData\Local\SAP\SAP GUI\tmp\)_# not found.

Note: The file name is not necessarily ")_#" but could be any garbled character.
