2417358 - Error "[master clock] [Manager.Clock] The system clock previously set This clock skew is too large to handle without a restart" while stopping Introscope EM (Enterprise Manager) - Solution manager 7.2

Symptom

  • In Solution Manager -> In Basic Configuration -> In Configure CA Introscope -> The status of the Introscope EM (Enterprise Manager) host is red 
  • The Introscope EM is stopped
  • In the Introscope EM logs (IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.log) you see the following error:

"[ERROR] [master clock] [Manager.Clock] The system clock, previously set at <..> mS, has been reset to <..> mS.   This clock skew is too large to handle without a restart, so to maintain internal consistency of time-oriented metric data, the EM will now exit."
