2402793 - when auditing is enabled to remove java classes, sp_audit is still off - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • sp_audit says it is "off", even though it is "on"

  • 1> exec sp_audit "bind", "all", db1
    2> go
    Database-specific auditing 'bind' in database 'db1' is 'off'.
    (return status = 0)

  • sp_audit is enabled or turn on
    1> exec sp_audit "bind", "all", db1 ,"on"
    2> go
    Audit option has been changed and has taken effect immediately.
    (return status = 0)

  • It still says it is "off", it should be "on"
    1> exec sp_audit "bind", "all", db1
    2> go
    Database-specific auditing 'bind' in database 'db1' is 'off'.  
    (return status = 0)
