2383787 - system#notboundexception seen in Websphere cluster for SAP Maximo Work Manager 8.1

Symptom

When a user tries to login to Maximo backend, they enounter system#notboundexception. The user is able to login again after several attempts . The Maximo backend resides in a Websphere cluster with several Maximo instances.

The following error is seen in the SMP server log :
