Symptom

When trying to launch the Integration Builder tools, the Integration Builder launch process fails with "Unable to launch the application".
Java 8
is installed in the client pc.
 
The error details are:
java.lang.RuntimeException: ERROR: Failed to recover corrupt cache entry
at com.sun.deploy.cache.CacheEntry.recover(Unknown Source)
