If you doubt that some of the position ids in your instance are missing and you are curious to know what have happened to those positions of your instance then you would happen to investigate with an audit by reaching out to a support professionals.
So here is the pre-requisite before you reach out to the support executives.
Please navigate to Admin tools--- > Configure Object Definitions---->chose "Object Definitions" under search-----> select position
In position object please search for field "MDF Version History" check whether it is set to "yes" , if yes then please proceed to support they can help you with the audit report.
If the field is set to "no" then we are sorry support professionals wouldn't be able to pull the reports.
