- Number of statements in the statement cache have a very high number for Current Usage.
- The usage count is higher than the number of connections.
- Outputs that show the issue are query on monCachedStatement or dbcc prsqlcache :
select CurrentUsageCount , MaxUsageCount from monCachedStatement where SSQLID = <ID of problem statement>
dbcc prsqlcache(<SSQLID of problem statement>, 1) => the ssql_usecnt field
