2263175 - How to disable creation of large java_pid****.hprof files generated by tomcat in SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.0/4.1

Symptom

  • Java_pid*.hprof files getting generated in Tomcat folder and taking up disk space, Size of these hprof files are very large and can be deleted or not.
  • Apache Tomcat (running SAP JVM) is not responsive or is using high CPU and end users are unable to access BI Platform 4.1 web applications due to generation of hprof log files in Tomcat's Folder.
