Symptom

  • After upgrading from ASE 15.0.2 to ASE 15.7, an sql statement was running slowly.
  • The same sql statement executed for 30 seconds on ASE 15.0.2 but it would take about 5 minutes on ASE 15.7.
  • The sql has Nested loop joins, IsNull and Distinct
