2196285 - Table could not be activated in MAIN_SHDRUN/ACT_UPG

Symptom

During the phase 'Main_SHDRUN' module 'ACT_UPG', the execution of SPDD and Activation fails. In the SAPup_troubleticket.log you can see the following message:

Further checking the file ACTUPG.ELG you can see:

3 EDT014XActivate dependent table "<TABLE>"
1EEDT304 Foreign key "<TABLE>"-"<COLUMN>" (More foreign key fields than check table fields)
2WEDT313 For. "<TABLE>"-"<COLUMN>" ("<COLUMN1>" and "<COLUMN2>" have different data types)
3 EDT015 Dependent table "<TABLE>" was not activated
1EEDO519 "Table" "<TABLE>" could not be activated
1 ETP111 exit code           : "8"

Remark: <TABLE> is the table name and <COLUMN>, <COLUMN1> and <COLUMN2> represent fields of this table.

The target of the upgrade is a NetWeaver 7.4 SR2 based system.
