In transactions SMQ1, SMQ2 and SM58, a 24 digit hexadecimal number called Transaction ID (TID) is used to identify the Logical Units of Work (LUWs) of Remote Function Calls (RFCs).
The RFC TID is used in various RFC related tables (e.g. ARFCRSTATE, ARFCSSTATE, ARFCSDATA, TRFCQIN, TRFCQOUT etc.) for a unique identification of the entries. For troubleshooting purposes it may be useful to understand what information the TID contains.
The term Transaction ID (TID) is used in various SAP functionalities and applications - the current KBA describes the TID used in RFCs.
