You could see the following error message when trying to remove the master host with HANA studio directly:
SAP DBTech JDBC: : argument type mismatch: remove not allowed;cannot remove master host <hostname>
Even through you failover it to the standby host, the error still appears when delete the original master host:
SAP DBTech JDBC: : argument type mismatch: remove not allowed;cannot remove worker host while not assigned
to a storage partition.
You have to switch role with a standby host and then remove this host. <hostname>
