2114464 - Wrong ALTER statement when the APPEND clause is removed from table - SAP PD

Symptom

  • Removing the APPEND clause from table definition generates an ALTER statement.
  • The generated file contains an incorrect syntax: the ALTER TABLE statement uses the APPEND keyword but does not specify any value.
  • It generates:
       alter table tablename
          append;
    instead of
       alter table tablename
          append no;
