While performing an Upgrade/Update using Software Update Manager,
During the phase CHECK-DEFAULT-INBOX, you may receive the below error:
[Info ]: Detecting Inbox directory...
[Error ]: Cannot create directory /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in: java.io.File.mkdirs() method returned false.
[Error ]: Global EPS inbox directory /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in is missing and cannot be created automatically. Check profile parameter DIR_EPS_ROOT or try to create the directory manually.
[Error ]: The following problem has occurred during step execution:
com.sap.sdt.tools.io.SdtFileException: The inbox location /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in does not exist. Verify
that you have specified an existing or accessible inbox directory..
