2017079 - Unable to synchronize remote delta link content in consumer portal

Symptom

After portal upgrade from 7.0 to 7.3/7.4 synchronize content of Remote Delta Link(RDL) content throws below error:

"Could not synchronize remote delta link content. Check your network connection, connection settings, and that the remote system is running and can be accessed. If the problem persists, contact SAP Support"

In the log finds the below entry:
Unable to synchronize RDL content for connection producer 'SYSID' with synchronize all content option 'false'. Please check attached exception.
[EXCEPTION]
java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 2, Size: 2
