2014272 - LogViewer Service error during java startup[video]

Symptom

  • During Java startup, logviewer service takes a long time to start and eventually times out.
  • "Service tc.monitoring.logviewer is not loaded"; error std_server<x>.out log(present in java work directory:/usr/sap/<SID>/<instance>/work)
  • Under "Timed out services" in the same log, "Service tc.monitoring.logviewer > service tc.monitoring.logviewer start method invoked."
  • Thread dumps do not show any hanging threads.
