1998320 - IDT Universe Missing Connectors for JDBC or ODBC

Symptom

  • When creating a new relational datasource connection in IDT, the list of available datasources is missing several datasource types.  Possibly only Generic, SAP and SAAS are available.  

    Missing Universe Middleware

 

  • Example Missing datasources:

  • Datasources are available in a local connection:
    Apache, GreenPlum, Hewlett Packard, HSQLDB, IBM, Ingres, Microsoft, Netezza, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Salesforce.com, SAP, Sybase, Teradata

  • In addition, if a local connection is published, testing the connection would yield the error message:
    Test Failed: Could not connect to the Infostore
