  • You are requested to implement urgent corrections using transaction SNOTE, but your system is in Downtime due to a release change.
  • This implementation has to be considered in one of the following projects:
    • System upgrade
    • System update (Enhancement Package implementation)
    • Support Package Stack implementation

Environment

  • Software Update Manager (SUM)
  • Main configuration mode:
    • Standard (Downtime minimized) mode for Upgrade, Update and SPS.
    • Advanced (Downtime minimized) mode for Upgrade, Update and SPS.
    • Single System (Resource minimized) mode for Upgrade.
  • Notes containing a short correction instruction.
  • Restriction:
    • Notes which are implemented before the Upgrade/Update and fully/partly overwritten by the Update cannot be implemented.
