1981410 - Signal 11 and stack trace given when dbcc sqltext (spid) was run - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • The command -- dbcc sqltext(spid) was executed.
  • User session terminates unexpectedly
  • ASE error log contains an infected with signal 10 or signal 11 error in oh_printsql or oh_errlog
  • This may also show a timeslice error in the log
  • Stacktrace can include the following functions (offsets will vary by platform) :

oh_printsql
oh_errlog
prSQLTEXT
d_sqltext
exec_dbcc
