1946747 - No client update due to missing verification check against backend - SUP

Symptom

  • Data update on the client failed with no error in client and server log.
  • In the case some SUP data on the mobile device has been changed, the data is not verified against the backend.

    Example:
    The user has received a new password for the backend connection and modifies the password in the mobile application accordingly to the new backend password.
    By using the provided OData and ODP libraries, the new password is saved on the mobile device but it is not checked at the backend at user registration.
    If an incorrect password has been added anyway it will be stored successfully.
    This makes the user unable to get data from the backend until the password has been corrected.
