1928534 - Obsolete SAP notes de-implemented in SPAU with SCWN029

As you already known that, it is necessary to perform SPAU adjustment during or after system update (upgrade / EHP installation / support package implementation).

As to the part of "Note corrections" in SPAU, there are following status:

1. Grey traffic light Image733.gif

It means that the SAP note is obsolete, you can just click the grey traffic light for it to "Reset to Original".

2. Green traffic light Image507.gif

It means that some correction instructions included in the SAP note are obsolete, but others are still valid. You can just click the green traffic light, the obsolete part will be reset to original.

3. Yellow traffic light yellow_light.PNG

It means that the SAP note is still valid, you must implement it again. You can click the yellow traffic light to implement it.

4. Green checkmark adjusted.PNG

It means that the SAP Note has been adjusted. No adjustment is necessary.

But sometimes it may happen that obsolete SAP notes are displayed with yellow traffic lightyellow_light.PNG in SPAU -> "Note Correction" list. If you check these SAP notes using SNOTE, you will find that the implementation status for them is "obsolete version implemented". When you click the yellow traffic light for these SAP notes in SPAU, you will get message SCWN029 "SAP Note obsolete, will be deimplemented", then the corrections included in these SAP notes will be deimplemented completely or partly.

If you check these SAP notes in SNOTE after deimplementation, the implementation status for these SAP notes changes to be "Cannot be implemented". If you try to implement these SAP notes again using SNOTE, you will be told that "SAP Note already implemented by Support Package" or "SAP Note does not contain valid correction instructions", which means that it is not possible for you to implement these SAP notes any more. And if you check the changed objects during the de-implemenatation, you might found that the version returned back to an old verison before upgrade, which means that these objects were "downgraded" after the de-implementation.
