Symptom

CRM Client unable to connect the Sybase Unwired Platform server.  Review of Sybase Unwired Platform server log shows:

2013-10-04 14:47:44.139 WARN    MMS          Thread-222 [com.sybase.sup.admin.util.WebServiceUtil] Failed to get IMO admin port.
java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "Operation failed.
Root element is missing."

 at java.lang.Integer.valueOf(Integer.java:554)

 at com.sybase.sup.admin.util.WebServiceUtil.getIMOAdminWebServicesRunningPort(WebServiceUtil.java:65)

 at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:662)

 

Review of processes on the Windows Machines shows the Messaging Server OBMO.exe process listening on port 80 (netstat -ao | findstr <OBMO PID>).
