- If cache wash size is changed manually it will remain at that value until the user manually changes it again
- Reducing the size of the cache to below the wash size will cause the cache resize to fail
- Error 5867 will be reported:

The wash size for the 2k buffer pool in cache default data cache has been incorrectly configured. It must be a minimum of 10 buffers and a maximum of 80 percent of the number of buffers in the pool.
