1897133 - Afaria Windows Client does not automatically reconnect on schedule

Symptom

  • Windows Client does not automatically reconnect on schedule in Afaria 7
  • The XCMonitor no longer parsed the WPP files sent from the Afaria server. This caused the Afaria client not to connect automatically, even when a schedule has been created.
  • These error messages were reported in the XCMonitorLog.txt file (C:\Program Files (x86)\AClient): "ERROR XML_Parser::ParseDocument: Schema validation failed. ERROR XML_Parser::ParseDocument: The attribute 'time' on the element '{x-schema:WPP}Until' is not defined in the DTD/Schema. ERROR WorkProfileAndPolicies::ParseWorkProfileAndPoliciesFile: Error, Evaluating the Specified Work Profile And Policies File, 'C:\ProgramData\AClient\Data\<transmitterid>\6f320297.wpp'. ERROR WorkProfileAndPolicyMgr::InstanciateWppObject: Error, The Allocated WorkProfileAndPolicies Object is Invalid."
