1855827 - Pop-up window for entering Current Processor cannot be closed in CRM Web UI

Symptom

  • When switching into edit mode in an Incident, normally a small pop-up displays, asking " Enter your business partner as the processor ? "
  • Most of the time this functions normally, but sometimes the pop-up does not open in a new window / frame and instead opens in the full screen window, replacing the view of the whole incident.
  • When this is the case, the only solution is to close the window and start the Incident Management application in a new browser (Internet Explorer / Firefox) instance. The buttons "Yes" and "No" have no effect.
  • When working on the ticket (in Edit mode), in the Processor field where you can use the F4-Help, the Selection Webpage dialog (pop-up) window opens up. Sometimes it opens the way it should open but sometimes it blocks the whole screen and it is not possible to return to the ticket.
  • All the work done on the ticket is lost, it is not possible to send or save the ticket. The only way is to start over again.
