You are using data in a SQL Server database with both, SAP access methods (ABAP, interfaces, ...) and other access methods (SQL Server Management Studio, Third-Party-Products), and with one of used access variants, special characters appear damaged.
- You try to insert data into an external database with Native SQL inside an ABAP program. When selecting the inserted data with the SQL Server Management Studio or Third-Party products, the special characters appear damaged.
- You insert data into an external database with a Third-Party product. When you read this data with SAP access methods, characters appear damaged even though on SQL Server level the characters are ok.
