1751496 - Agent is showing intermittently in the Agent Administration

Symptom

The Diagnostics Agents are not stable in the Agent Admin UI, they connection status is frequently changing in the Agent Administration. After check the the SMDSystem.log of the affected SMDAgents, the following errror is shown:

Aug 26, 2999 8:14:58 AM [Thread[Connector,5,main] ] Error [SMDConnectionTask.refreshJ2EEClusterConnections] Time out occurred when establishing connection to Solution manager cluster. Initial Agent connection may remain valid. If the problem persists, please contact your system administrator.
[EXCEPTION] Time out occurred when calling method 'maintainClusterConnection' on object [com.sap.smd.agent.connection.cluster.J2EEClusterConnector@756f46c4] after 60002 ms.
possible cause: com.sap.smd.server.util.concurrent.TimeoutException
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:763)
Caused by: com.sap.smd.server.util.concurrent.TimeoutException
