1684537 - EarlyWatch Alert not sent to SAP: troubleshooting guide

Symptom

  • Symptom 1: Even though you have configured the EWAs to be sent to SAP in transaction SOLMAN_EWA_ADMIN or via the EarlyWatch Administration link you may have noticed that the EWAs are not effectively being sent to SAP or SAP support has contacted you informing that your EWAs are not being received.
  • Symptom 2: In EWA Configuration Page, which could be accessed with Transaction SOLMAN_SETUP -> Earlywatch Alert Management -> Activate EWA or Transaction SOLMAN_EWA_ADMIN, the field "Send to SAP" is greyed out.
