Symptom

  • You need clarification for which tables the autostats option should be disabled
  • Section Tables With Auto Update Statistics Disabled of your Early Watch Report (=EWA) reports that the option autostats is set incorrectly for one or more tables

EWA Report:The AUTOMATIC UPDATE STATISTICS option must be disabled for some tables.
Recommendation: Set the AUTOMATIC UPDATE STATISTICS option to "OFF" for tables VBHDR, VBMOD, and VBDATA as described in SAP Note <note number>
To do so, use SQL command:
EXEC SP_AUTOSTATS <tablename>, OFF
