1504215 - Poor performance in transaction SBWP (Mainly due to the inbox being flooded with old work items)

Symptom

  • Users receive Time Out short dump when trying to open transaction SBWP (SAP Business Workplace).
  • Users receive "TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED" short dump when trying to open transaction SBWP.
  • Takes several minutes to open transaction SBWP (user has many thousand work items in their inbox).
  • Performance in SBWP is very poor.
  • Users inbox flooded with work items.
  • Users unable to open the UWL (Universal Worklist). After several minutes the following error message appears "During the attempt to connect to the provider, an error has occurred".
