3118424 - Not Possible Include KUT Fields in the Enterprise Search / Global Search Section.

Symptom

You want to adapt and add an Extension field in the Enterprise Search / Global Search using the Adaptation Mode, however it is not possible to change the standard fields.

Reproducing the Issue

1. After create a KUT field e.g. from Accounts you want to add it inside the red mark.

Cause

At the moment the Enterprise Search / Global Search view does not support to add Extension Fields inside the red mark.

Resolution

This is the standard behavior of the system.

If you need this functionality urgently you may contact your implementation manager to help with such request or approach directly the SAP Cloud Service Center.
