Symptom

When importing data into a model, the import fails with the error "operation aborted due to excess memory consumption" even though the scheduled import worked several times before.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2021.14.18

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a model
  2. Set up a schedule to import data into the model
  3. At some point, the import starts failing with the given error.
