3103625 - Inconsistency with Exception of aggregation with formula% GRANDTOTAL in SAC

Symptom

When a multiplication or division is used, the total result is required to be the sum of the detail, an Aggregation Exception with Aggregation Exception is applied for the dimensions.

When performing this parameterization and correctly save the change in the model but the data is not displayed in the history.

The replicated behavior is similar to quantity * price. only one of the parameters uses the% Grand Total.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2021.14.15

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create an account formulated in the Data Model using the formula% GrandTotal.
  2. The image shows the value in the totals, but for the ratio you want to see is the sum of the results of the detail, in the image you can see the one shown by the platform.
  3. The image shows in the last row the value that you would expect to see in the totals for that measure which using GrandTotal.
  4. By following https://help.sap.com/doc/00f68c2e08b941f081002fd3691d86a7/2021.7/en-US/ce7b148eeac942f6ad1d076d73d1e6fd.html , create Exceptional Aggregation and Exceptional Aggregation  Dimensions and it saves the change correctly in the model and does not get error or warning.
  5. When opening the story No warning is displayed, but the value disappears.
