You want to know which date is taken into consideration when confirming Put-Away tasks - the Actual Execution Date or the Actual Delivery Date.
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Inbound Logistics work center.
- Select the Task Control view.
- Search for the task XXX.
- Select the task XXX.
- Choose Confirm.
*XXX represents the Task ID.
For two step inbound process:
In case of an Unload task, the business transaction date time actually comes from the Actual Delivery Date of the confirmed inbound delivery – this date is editable on the task (Admin section) until the first confirmation is posted. Once the first confirmation is posted, the field is no longer editable – it signifies the delivery was first received on the date specified for the first confirmation.
For a Put-Away task, the business transaction date time is mapped to the Actual Execution On date as here the goods are being moved from receiving staging area to another logistic area within the warehouse.
