Symptom

When trying to access batch management related configurations in Manage Your Solution an authorization error occurs: Authorization missing for user when executing transaction.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Your Solution
  2. Search for Batch Management Sub application area
  3. Click in 'Configure' in any step
  4. Authorization error occurs

Cause

Missing Authorization.

Resolution

Authorization for batch management related configurations comes along with the business catalog SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_LO_BMC_PC (Batch Management - Configuration).

Please make sure that the business catalog SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_LO_BMC_PC is assigned to the role of your user.
