3088773 - The color settings of the All/line/data point of line charts don't work expectedly in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

While using line chart in SAC, the function to change the All/line/data points color is not working well

  • When changing Data Point color in SAC, the change will only apply to the data points that are currently visible, which means, if currently only transaction data from Jan. to Aug. is available, when new data (Sep.) comes to our model, the data point of Sep. will not be updated as expected.
  • When changing line color after changing data point color in SAC, the change will apply to new lines as well, but the color of new data points will also be affected by this change. It means that new data points and new lines will always be of the same color. But this change on line colow will not apply on the previoud data points color.
  • When changing “All” after previous steps, only line color and new data point color will be affected. The existing data point color remains unchanged.
