3086567 - Some members of the dimension are not listed when using measures from different time period if data blending is defined in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)


  • Some members of the dimension in the chart will be not displayed after adding measures from different time period.
  • Issue was reproduced when data source was defined with Data Blending: BW query (Direct Live Connection) linked with an Microsoft Excel File (File upload) within a story.
  • Matched Dimensions linked on: ID

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAC.
  2. Create a story based on SAP BW query with direct live connection.
  3. Insert a chart e.g. Bar/Column.
  4. Add Linked Models - select a dimension for linking the models
  5. In the Matched Dimensions - Link on: ID and Set.
  6. Add dimension from the Excel file.
  7. Add measure values from the primary SAP BW query:
    • dimension with metric ACT (-> year 2021)
    • dimension with metric PY (-> year 2020).
  8. Only some members of the dimension will be listed in the chart.
